Day 12

Today was our last day of working. In the morning, we went to Gems of Hope again. We had to make bookmarks with beads, which was fun! In the afternoon, we went to Catholic Workers House. Again, we had to paint a room, but it was very nice because Iris and I were working together with two other volunteers. Around 4 pm Becky picked us up from the Catholic Workers House and we went back to their home. This evening, we went out for dinner at a place called Zeppelins. I ate spare ribs with BBQ sauce, which was really good! After dinner, we went to the theater downtown. We went to the musical Mary Poppins. I loved it! The cast and music was very good and the decor looked really nice. It was a great evening!
