Day 10

Tomorrow was our last time at the office of the Boys and Girls Club. We had to work on two small things, and when we finished doing that, we could leave for the office of Gems of Hope for the rest of the day. So after we finished the two small tasks, we had to say goodbye to everyone there. I am going to miss the people from the office of the Boys and Girls Club!
In the afternoon, we went to the office of Gems of Hope, which is in the same building as the office of the Boys and Girls Club. Gems of Hope is another charity, and they help cancer patients. So that is where we went this afternoon, to help.
After work, we went to HyVee, a big supermarket in Iowa, because Iris and I made dinner tonight! We have tasted many American food already during our stay, so now we wanted Becky and Dennis to try a real Dutch dish: wortelstamp! They did not know the word 'wortelstamp' of course, so we just called it carrot and potato mash. Iris and I were really glad they liked it!
When we had finished dinner, Becky taught us pottery. It was not very easy, but I really liked it! And the bowl I made turned out pretty good!
Tomorrow we will go to another place for our internship: Catholic Worker House. We do not know yet what we are going to do there, so I am really curious!
